[IWU] Clan Constitution:

Member rules

1) We play to have fun. The manner in which we pursue this rule is described in further rules.

2) Never mis-treat other players. Whether they be in [IWU]clan or not, exercise patience!

3) Never lose control of your frustrations or anger. Never ever lash out against another player. Always maintain an attitude of moderation.

4) Respect all members/players as is their due. All players are due at least a small degree of respect as long as they abide by the rules. Never allow or participate in discussions on servers that might make other players feel uncomfortable.

5) Try to help new players, not belittle or frustrate them. Never put down a player who is trying to learn. Always remember that at one time you were that new player.

6) Never at anytime, insult or dishonor yourself or this clan out of ignorance or anger on any server or any forum.

7) If any player has a problem with another player, work it out together, but not on the server or in public display. Communicate via ICQ or use email.

8 ) Always remember to some this is more than a game. Present yourself as you wish others to present themselves to you: With honor.

9) Always try to welcome players that enter our servers and others with a simple “Hi”. Always depart a game or server with a “gg”.

10) Members are required to wear their [IWU]Tags proudly as much as possible while playing on any Half-life server. Certain situations which require a member to shed their [IWU]tag could arise but should always be kept to a minimum. All members need to be ambassadors of IWU.

Administration

12) Clan hierarchy: Clan Leaders / founding board members, Junior board members, managing members, clan members. Members at higher levels automatically have membership and authority in lower levels.
Membership and Recruiting

15) This is an exclusive clan: we hold members up to standards of maturity and skill.

16) Any member may be voted out of the clan, or demoted by a 51% majority of the board members voting.

-Every player who demonstrates acceptable behavior, skill, may apply to membership in the clan
-Upon successful completion of their application, the player will be required to make use of a mic in game, introduce themselves to as many founding board and junior board members as they are able, and engage in and obey all clan rules and obligations.
-Evaluation periods can be anywhere from 1 week to 4 weeks long before the voting period begins.
-At any time during the evaluation period, the founding board may extend, shorten, or terminate the probation.
-Board members may vote the player into the clan by 51% majority or better.
-If the vote fails due to outright declination, at least a month must pass before the same player may commence a new evaluation period. If the vote fails due to too many “I Don’t Know” votes, the player may commence a new evaluation period immediately.
-If the vote succeeds, the player becomes a clan member. This election does not prohibit the ejection of this member by board members at any time.

Extra

-Clan members must own and use a mic in-game, or at least make a strong effort to do so.
-Clan members and applicants to the clan may NOT have membership in any other clan.
